Obama's CIA Head fake

Now help me understand this.... April 09, the President says we need to move forward and not pursue the CIA interrogation techniques that kept us safe for 8 years. Now in Aug, 09, the Justice Department, headed by Eric Holder, says we need to look again and find where the CIA went too far to protect us. This is after the Bush Justice Department's [non political ]Inspector General and career prosecutors decided no laws were broken in their investigation in 05.

Just imagine this.... In addition to the "horrible" waterboarding, of the perpetrators of 9/11, the interrogators supposedly fired a weapon in another room, held a power drill and hand gun next to their head and God forbid, kept them from sleeping.

Well, I'll tell you why this is happening. The extreme left in this country, driven by the ACLU, has pressured the Administration to reopen this. In addition, Obama's health care policies are failing to take hold and his rating in the polls is collapsing. So what does a desperate President do to distract from his problems? He goes back to his tried and true game plan and moves the dialogue to the previous administration. ... he uses Bush for his cover. It was Bush who allowed torture to occur...blame it on him.

Well, the American people are too smart for him and they see right through this nonsense. Most Americans take the position we were safe for 8 years because we employed aggressive interrogation tactics with terrorists and prevented additional attacks. Too bad we made them feel threatened for their lives. Too bad we made them think they were going to die. They gave us information that saved American lives and we should send thank you notes to the CIA folks responsible.
If the Obama administration has their way, we will lose our best and brightest in the CIA. Why would anyone there risk losing their reputation and risk going to jail?
Guess what, they won't and when we're attacked again, everyone will say ...how did this happen, why did we not see it coming and why didn't we "connect the dots"

Then it will be too late...
